Conservation

Our committee focuses on all aspects of conservation issues, from education and advocacy to hands-on volunteering.  Our committee educates the club members on best practices to restore and protect natural resources, and encourages environmental stewardship in alignment with the purpose, mission, vision and values of the GCA and our Club's mission.  Our committee was involved in drafting and advocating for the passage of the April is Native Plants Month in New Jersey.  Our committee also manages the Reeves-Reed Arboretum Herb Garden (from clean up in Spring to closing in Fall), and makes positive impacts on our local environment by participating in local environmental initiatives.
